I have finally met someone who could beat out David in my heart as the world's biggest jerk. His name is JD... you may know him. Not DJ, JD. He and I had a fight. He said I changed too much since I met Chris and hung up on me. He left a message later saying that he finally figured out the perfect way to make Chris suffer but that it was 'just too mean', so he was going to go tell him the truth. I don't know what he did, but I have the most horrible feeling about it... JD is cruel.

I also have the feeling that this is going to come back to bite me. Why would JD take something out on Chris, just because he and I argued? That's just underhanded. He has a history of making up things and then trying to get Chris to believe them... he even tried to trick me into saying that I had cheated on Chris once-- he was recording it on his MP3 player and planning on playing it back to him on a phonecall later. He was saying, like, hypothetically, how would I tell Chris if I cheated on him. And I kept saying over and over that I wouldn't, and he got frustrated and told me what he was trying to do. And once he told Chris that I liked to make up stories so he would worry about me, to punish him. Things like that.

So you can see where I'd worry? I can just see him doing something like that again... maybe telling Chris that Shelby and I were planning to do something, or that I was preparing to have sex, or something. Maybe it won't be me. I know he has Chris's number, and he's stolen my phone enough times that he could have anyone else's number... God, I hope he didn't call Shelby. Why did I even answer the phone???? I hope he didn't get anyone else involved in this. I hope Chris just deletes the messages.

In this spirit, I'm going to make a new rule for my friends-- treat Chris as you would treat me. When he's hurt, it hurts me too. When he and I have fights, I very much appreciate the support and sympathy, but, please-- it's our problem; let us deal with it ourselves.
